Attention all teens and moms of teens! Have some fun together making ornament cubes using some of your favorite photos. Teen(s) and their moms should each bring in 5-6 photos of family, friends, or pets! (Note: photos will be cut down.) We'll use these photos to crate unique holiday ornaments you'll cherish year round.
All materials supplied. Age 12-18 and their moms. Registration required.

Before the holidays get too hectic, treat yourself to some crafting fun! Children will complete winter and/or Christmas crafts and make a holiday card (The perfect combination for a handmade gift to Grandma or Grandpa!). Meanwhile, teens and adults will create a Christmas themed quilt-motif double scrapbook page - just in time to fill with favorite holiday photos!
Both events are free. Registration is required.

Bow-Making for Packages

Tracy is back this holiday season for another course on the art of bow-making. This year's class will focus on various bow-making techniques for different sized packages. This class of FREE, but participants are asked to bring their own ribbon of varying widths and patterns (at least 5 yards) as well as a gift box to practice with.

The Ogle County Health Department & Julia Hull District Library are pleased to offer a 10-week program featuring a step-by-step plan to help women develop healthy lifestyle skills and reduce the risk of heart disease. Topics will include understanding the risks of cardiovascular disease, goal setting, gaining confidence, reducing the impact of daily stress, overcoming barriers, determining meal portions, identifying support systems and measuring goals with objective assessments.

Thursday Night Sip-N-Stitch

Calling all knitters, crocheters, quilters, cross-stitchers & more! Join us, beginning October 22, for a gathering of busy fingers and conversation. We’ll share projects, patterns and tips as we sit back and stitch in a casual setting. No rules, no registration.
Bring yourself and your projects; we’ll supply the coffee, tea and hot chocolate for sipping. Thursday Night Sip-N-Stitch will continue through the winter.
Participants may come to as many or as few meetings as they like!
