Hi-yah! This month’s “guy thing” is all about martial arts. We’ll talk about different types of martial arts, why they exist—then we’ll read fun stories about ninjas, etc. and do a craft. We’ll even learn a move, or two!

I-Movie for Teens: Summer Snapshot!

Keep summer memories for a lifetime! Teen participants should bring a CD of 10-15 of their favorite photos from summer break. We’ll import these images into I-Movie, then organize them, add music and/or voice over and use special effects to create a video you can play in your DVD player at home!

Presentation Basics for Homeschoolers

Learn to use free downloadable software, just like Microsoft PowerPoint, to create presentations for home school projects! We’ll learn how by creating a sample presentation together which students can replicate at home for any subject. Elementary students through teens are welcome. Younger students who need assistance may pair up with an older sibling, as necessary.
