Senior Crafts: Whimsical Stationary

Seniors are invited to create a whimsical stationary set using multi-media, including paper, fabric, stamps and hardware. Use to send a letter to a long-time friend, give the set as a gift, or frame as wall art.
All materials supplied. Bring pinking shears, if available.

Button Up With a Friend!

Did you know August 18-24th is National Friendship Week? Celebrate with a friend by coming to a special craft hour at the library featuring buttons! We’ll make a wall hanging using vintage looking fabrics and buttons that would look adorable in a bathroom, craft room, kitchen or bedroom!
Fabric, canvas and paint will be supplied. Bring your own quirky buttons (8-15)—leftovers from shirts, coats, costumes, or cheap finds at the local flea market—and pinking shears and fabric scissors (if available). Most importantly, bring a friend!

The Organized Family

Let Certified Professional Organizer, Beth Randall, help you and your family get organized for the school year. She’ll provide tips for families with busy active school-aged kids, including making organizing a family commitment and not just something Mom does! You will learn how to handle the daily paperwork, extra-curricular paperwork, and artwork. She’ll also offer suggestions on setting up routines and schedules plus how the kids can help with the chores.
Kids are welcome to attend with parents/guardians.
