Web Design Basics

This class is a must for any teacher, small business owner or individual wanting to create his or her own website for professional or personal use. The class is divided into 3 hands-on sessions. Class 1 will cover basic web concepts, including domain names, web servers and website hosting; then, participants will “dive in” to create their first webpage. Class 2 will focus on images and linking—developing a website from the webpage started in Class 1. Finally, Class 3 will feature adding style and personality to the website using Cascading Style Sheets.
Web Design Basics is an aggressive series, designed for students who have experience and confidence in using a computer and the Internet. However, no web design experience is required.
Students should bring a CD or flash disk to class.
