Learn the art of cake decorating in this special two part workshop. Veteran baker and cake decorator, Vera Armour, will instruct in simple, easy steps the how-twos of cake decorating, including what type of frosting to use, which tips to choose to create various decorations, how to utilize a frosting bag and more. Life Writing for Older Adults and Seniors: Session I

This three week workshop is designed for any older adult or senior citizen who's interested in examining their life experiences through the art of writing creative non-fiction. We'll combine reading from sample memoirs, with personal writing exercises to examine different styles of memoir, writing techniques, and strategies for creating vivid tale.

Anyone interested in enrolling in this class should pick up a reading packet, to be completed by the first class on Friday, June 5.

Participants need not have any former writing experience.

Registration is required.

More Facebook for Adults of Any Age

This Facebook session will delve into customizing your Facebook account. We’ll upload profile pictures and photo albums to share with family and friends you want to stay connected with. Participants enrolled in this session MUST have a Facebook account, and should bring photos (on CD or Flash Drive, for example) to upload. Participants who do not want to include a full photo album, but would like to have a profile picture on their account may take one during class with the laptop camera.
